NZXT Phantom chassis

The Phantom has been developed mindfully to support larger heatsink units and graphics solutions, plus will artfully accommodate an E-ATX mainboard. Support for up to 7 hard drives and up-to five 5.25in bays is also part of the puzzle, together with the benefits of screw-less installation.

Upcoming ASUS AT5IONT-I

We're talking about HTPC again, one inovative mainboard from Asus AT5IONT-I it was powered with INTEL ATOM processor dual-core, hyper-threaded 1.8GHz D525, using Nvidia ION second generation GPU with 16 CUDA cores, 512MB of video memory hooked up to a 64-bit interface, hardware video acceleration and support for DX10.1, Passive cooling was already included, support for SODIMM memory slot. You also get a PCIe x4 expansion slot, integrated 7.1 channel Realtek ALC887 audio, two SATA connectors, Gigabit Ethernet and built-in Wireless N. Not bad for a board that measures just 170mm x 170mm. As you know, many HTPC board was alaready hit the market, I think that Asus should work more with H55 or Q57 for HTPC mainboard to beat Zotac or Gigabyte, because they already produce more interactive feature, such as Wifi, many SATA controller to handle the movie files.

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 455 and 450 Should be Coming in August

Posted Tue, 07/20/2010 - 07:56

So, the competition heating up, a grow up revenue by AMD makes nVidia hit an entry level market. For the third quarter, Nvidia has recently launched its GeForce GTX 460 GPU and is set to launch GeForce GTS 455 and 450 GPUs in August and an entry-level GF100-based GPU in September, according to previous reports. Although AMD is already preparing next-generation DirectX 11 products, since details are unlikely to be fully planned out until October, and AMD currently does not have plans for new product launches in the third quarter, the company is likely to offer price cuts to compete against Nvidia's new products, which should reduce its profits, the sources noted.
