USB charger becomes standard?

I found an interesting stuff here http://store.fastmac.com/product_info.php?products_id=458, It was USB socket they had already build and could become a standard, USB is now used to charge many handheld such as Blackberry, Apple family handheld, and many smartphones comes with USB charger.
